The new film from the Marvel Film Universe premieres on February 16, 2018, with Chadwick Boseman as the protagonist.
Marvel’s Cinematic Universe continues with the release of two new solo films of its famous superheroes.
The god of thunder will return on October 27 in Thor: Ragnarok, while T’Challa will do so with Black Panther on February 16, 2018.
So far, the team of the story starring Chadwick Boseman (Captain America: Civil War) has not revealed too many details about what the ‘Marvels’ can expect from the film.
The production designer has decided to end this by revealing that Taika Waititi has been inspired by the Blade Runner universe to carry it out.
Hannah Beachler has made use of her official Twitter account to answer some questions from Marvel fans.
“Has Blade Runner influenced you when it comes to inspiring you in the Wakanda concept or in Ryan’s vision?” Asks user DuJuan Franklin before the Blade Runner 2049 premiere.
“Yes, I was definitely inspired by the original Blade Runner,” explains Blacher before having to explain his idea more deeply at the insistence of his followers:
“This thinking has influenced the technological part of that world and the density of city, texture and tone.Many movies have served as inspiration.”
