China has announced that it is building a police station whose functions will be entrusted to an artificial intelligence instead of humans, according to the website The next web.
According to a local newspaper that echoes the web, the police station would be dedicated to offering driving exams through simulators to obtain a driver’s license, as well as to process registrations and registrations through technologies such as facial recognition.
This center is one of the next steps that the Asian country wants to take with the aim of being the leader of artificial intelligence in 2025.
China says it will amend the legislation to continue creating government buildings not controlled by humans, which will be open 24 hours and whose bureaucracy will be much faster.
