McDonald’s Manager was arrested for allegedly selling thousands of dollars’ worth drugs through his restaurant counter in the Bronx, according to prosecutors.
Frank Guerrero, 26, the McDonald’s Manager was arrested Wednesday by NYPD police along with ICE agents at the McDonald’s fast-food restaurant.
Guerrero was the night manager of the restaurant for eight years, according to prosecutors.
In eight instances, the suspect allegedly sold cocaine valued at more than $ 10,000 to an undercover officer at McDonald’s located on Bruckner Boulevard in Pelham.
Twice, Guerrero would have hidden the drugs in a bag of cookies, which was placed inside a bag along with burgers and fries, according to prosecutors.
The operation, known as “Off the Menu”, consists of an investigation that lasted at least three months.
Authorities have unveiled images on Wednesday showing cocaine bags next to hamburgers and fries.
Guerrero lived in a house in the Bronx, recently acquired in July, with his wife of 24 years and his two-year-old son.
The wife, identified as Leidy Cabral Castillo, was also arrested Wednesday.
From the suspect’s home, the authorities seized more than $ 5,000 in cash and drugs he kept in his little son’s room; that is why an additional charge was presented for putting the safety of a child at risk.
Tony Rodriguez, the owner of McDonald’s issued a statement that said:
“This employee’s actions are unacceptable and will not be tolerated in my organization. We are cooperating with the NYPD research and we defer all additional questions on this matter to them. ”
